Date nights are never bad. Unless they're bad dates. Which this won't be.

But Jaye's in her room, replying to E-mails from months ago in order to keep herself busy until Archie shows.

Jaye's working on her metaphor for Criminal Justice class. Diligently, one might add. it would have been done right away, except the plaque bit was used by someone else and now Jaye needs to be creative. That kind of thing is happening a lot to her lately.

She's got a notebook and pen in hand, and is watching disc 2 of Vanessa Saturn for snarky inspiration.

There is no squeeing here. Because that would be sad. There is no squeeing while waiting, and there is just calmness and... other stuff that looks like calm. Right. Certainly no flailing.

Again. That would be sad.
