But Jaye's in her room, replying to E-mails from months ago in order to keep herself busy until Archie shows.

"Get detention next week for the following fight?" she grins.

"Absolutely." Still completely deadpan. "There was clothing ripped off, too."

"Oh yes." And again, still deadpan. "Except that of course I didn't."

He clears his throat. "Er, yes -- would you care to go to dinner now?"
