Room 417, Tuesday night

Jaye's working on her metaphor for Criminal Justice class. Diligently, one might add. it would have been done right away, except the plaque bit was used by someone else and now Jaye needs to be creative. That kind of thing is happening a lot to her lately.

She's got a notebook and pen in hand, and is watching disc 2 of Vanessa Saturn for snarky inspiration.

Jaye might hold her breath a little, and if her hand grazes the side of his knee, that's completely an accident.

It's just as much of an accident if Archie's hand sort of ends up on top of Jaye's and squeezes it a little.

Jaye's not sure how turning to kiss him again could be an accident, but if there's a way, she just found it.

Funny thing, somehow Archie's arm just ends up around Jaye's shoulders right about the time she accidentally kisses him again. And he's accidentally kissing her right back.

This is good, and her arm might slide around his waist. Still with the kissing, too.

Archie's other hand might have ended up on Jaye's knee by now, and again, there is still kissing going on here.

She has to touch the hair. Has to. It's like a magnet.

Archie knew that was going to happen sooner or later. He doesn't get what it is about the hair, but he's learned to expect this sort of thing.

Not that he minds, because he's still kissing Jaye.

When Jaye finally pulls back, she's kind of disappointed in herself. But she's smiling again and biting her lip to not smile, which is completly not working.

Archie is kind of disappointed too, but he's smiling at Jaye trying not to smile. "I should probably let you go back to your homework," he offers lamely.

"I'm not whining anymore," she says. Still smiling. And blushing again. Dammit. "I'll see you later?"

"We can't have you whining or moody, can we?" Archie seems to be awfully reluctant about getting up and edging toward the door. "As for seeing you later -- please?"

Oh, God. He can't believe he just said that.

It's not possible for Jaye to be smiling anymore than she is right now. "Since you asked so nicely."

"Oh good." Archie definitely scoots back over and gives Jaye one last quick kiss, blushing furiously just before he heads for the door. "Erm, good night? I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Yeah," she says, and whee! "Good night."
