Room 417, Friday evening

After making a couple calls, Jaye totally leaves her room.

With the door wide open.

And just in case that's incentive for anyone to leave, she put a little box of JGOB pastries on one of the desks. Just to get them all the way into the room.

If anyone needs Jaye, she'll be hiding. No, you don't see her.

Jamie is not sneaky. He is hungry.

And still a bit drunk.

"They're for the fighting children," Jaye tells him, since she can probably come out with them all hiding now. Or at least be ready to flee if they break out.

Jamie gets a scared look on his face.

"Children? Our kids? They came back?"

"NO. OH MY GOD NO," says Jaye quickly. "I locked Alanna and Kawalsky in there so they'll make up and the stupid lion can shut the hell up already."

She tilts her head at him. "Wanna help?"

Jamie sniffled. "Yes. Love must prevail. Skipper doesn't deserve to be an ice cream ninja. You can talk to animals?"

"It's like a superpower," Jaye says dryly. "You could, like, I don't know. What's mushy and love-inducing?"

"Oh my god, no," Jaye says again, just as quicky. "Something... I don't know. Mushy, or romantic. Ooh! How about Earth Angel? It worked in the movie!"
