Room 417, Friday evening

After making a couple calls, Jaye totally leaves her room.

With the door wide open.

And just in case that's incentive for anyone to leave, she put a little box of JGOB pastries on one of the desks. Just to get them all the way into the room.

If anyone needs Jaye, she'll be hiding. No, you don't see her.

Alanna stepped into the room, sin cat. "Jaye? You called?"

Kawalsky hadn't really felt like company, but Jaye was different company. And she had free food and booze. The first thing he spotted through the open door was the box from J,GOB. "I'm stealing the good danish," he said, walking in and assuming the other person in the room was Jaye.

"What are you doing here?" Alanna demanded.

"Danish," he said, holding it up as if that explained EVERYTHING. "What are you doing here?" he countered.

"Donut." Alanna said, pointed at said pastry.

And that all gave Jaye enough time to dash in just far enough to grab the chair that's always kind of randomly around.

And on her way out, she calls, "AND YOU STAY THERE UNTIL YOU TALK IT OUT."

And then she slams the door. And locks it. And because it locks from the inside, she shoves the chair up under it.

Kawalsky's head snapped towards the door as it slammed shut. He dropped the danish and ran for the door, slamming his shoulder against it. Then he bashed on the door with his fist, because that was really going to help. "What the hell are you doing?" he yelled at Jaye. "JAYE?"

"This is time out!" she yells through the door. "Stop hitting doors and talk, god dammit!"

"I'll break your door down!" he yelled back. He really couldn't. "And no pastries for you! I was going to buy you GLITTER. Now you get NOTHING."

"You'll thank me later!" Jaye yells.

And if not, oops.

The only reply was another bash on the door.

Then it went quiet. For a bit, at least. Nope, another attempt.

Then another.

The door wasn't budging. After that third one, if Jaye was still around she might have heard an 'ow'.

Jaye's still around. She even says "There, there" all sympathetically.

"I'm trying the window!" he yelled back, ignoring the fact that Alanna was still there, because then he'd have to talk to her and that hadn't gone so well lately.

Yeah. It actually is. This is going to pose a problem later.

Thirty seconds of silence, probably with Alanna watching with a scowl (he wasn't looking, couldn't look), and then he returned to the door. "You superglued your window?!"

"I'm eating all your pastries!"

He had nothing else really.

"It's what they're there for."

She pauses. "Also, LALALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU."

She will keep doing that until they start talking to each other. No, seriously, she will.

"I smell doughnuts."

"They're for the fighting children," Jaye tells him, since she can probably come out with them all hiding now. Or at least be ready to flee if they break out.
