Room 417, Saturday morning till about noon

Jaye really doesn't want to go back home, but hey, at least it's only a few days. She's thrown some things in a bag, considers herself packed, and is just kind of waiting till she has to head out.

And she did manage a slapdash kind of Christmas shopping, believe it or not. Okay, okay, most of it is gift cards. Some people were easier to shop for than others, though, so it's not all gift cards.

[I'll be around till tonight if people want to stop by and get presents. If your character's already gone/misses Jaye, she'll get them when she gets back.]

He opens his - wondering if he should have wrapped his, but figuring if she doesn't mind then he shouldn't either - and kind of boggles at them a little, turning the boxes around and staring at the pictures. "What's the condition?"

And then he preens, because he was a little unsure if those would be okay. "I got one of the necklaces for all the Seahorse girls. Guys get something else."

"Good choice," she says, already going to put the necklace on. "And the condition is, I have to show you how to play at least one of those games."

"Works for me," Alec says, grinning. He watches her put on the necklace and looks pleased. "So how long are you gonna be gone?"

"I'll be back Tuesday or Wednesday," she says. "I want to get back before radio and they're all crazy there. So I'll be fleeing back here as soon as I possibly can."

He nods, then looks at his presents again. "You won't be here for Christmas morning. You'd better call," he says, glancing at her sadly.

"I will," she says. "Seriously, I'll call so early you'll hate me for it. Except that's the time you're supposed to be opening presents anyway, so you won't hate me for long."

"I'll make sure to have my phone on me," he says, pleased. "Which of these do you want me to save for you most?"

"Hungry Hungry Hippos," she answers immediately. "Seriously, it's joy."

Alec nods decisively. "Hungry Hungry Hippos will be waiting for you then. And maybe the Mousetrap one, 'cause that looks confusing."

"Yeah, that one can be more interesting when you do things completely wrong," she says brightly. "So it should be fun."
