Room 417, Thursday night

Newbies have been met. Most of them. Check. Including her Little Brother guy. Check. Not pissed at Archie. Check. And... okay, really that's all she had on her checklist. Tah dah.

She's not really feeling social, though, because when she tried that yesterday she got exhausted and then very nearly had emo. And while she knows about not-boyfriend nearly-stealing ho Parker's party, she doesn't think it's good to bitch someone out on their birthday, so maybe not such a good idea. So for now, she'll just camp out with the rented disc 1 of Vanessa Saturn to play on her computer.

Jaye picks up the phone, pausing the DVD because it doesn't pay to miss out on Vanessa snark. "Hello?"

Maybe she should check the caller ID every now and then.

"Yeah," Parker mutters, thinking of Rory's insistence. "I got that impression. Anyway. He's hella cute but I wasn't trying to mess with you, for the record. And this dress is too nice to be burninated." She rolled her eyes. "Grab anyone you can find, and tell them we're going. Consider your bar tab the rest of my apology."

She's not the burninating type, anyway. Though Callisto would probably do it if she promised not to promote her/Angel on the radio. "'Kay," she says. "I'll be there."

She gestures at the paused DVD. "Vanessa Saturn's about to catch this week's high school bad guy," she says. "I'm finishing up and ep or two before going over to Caritas."
