A certain bar in Niagara Falls- Tuesday night

It was Jaye's 21st birthday. Screw classes. She spent the first part of it driving back to Niagara Falls without saying a word to her family she wanted to enjoy this thank you and goodbye, to hang out with Mahandra before they headed off to the bar where she worked.

Since Mahandra wasn't working tonight, she too a seat next to Jaye and called over the bar, "We're going to be needing drinks over here. Card her, okay? She'll like it."

When asked for ID, Jaye turned over her brand new driver's license, a real one that said she was 21 instead of a fake one that said she was 21, and the bartender got her a beer. "You know, you're right? This is kind of awesome."

"Told you," Mahandra said. "But you didn't wanna listen."

Jaye took her first sip, put the bottle down, and decided, "Aaaaand now drinking seems to have lost some of its fun." Now that it was legal. Dammit.

The bartender frowned. "...Haven't you been coming here for like two years?"

[She did bring her phone with her, should anyone want to call.]

"Her boyfriend had to meet up with his long-lost half-sister who as it turns out, is a paralegal in the prosecutor's office. Small world. Bitch girlfriend is still pressing charges so far." Sigh.

"She should be more grateful," Anakin decided, "unless perhaps she doesn't like the new sister?"

"I think she's just pissed about the drink in her face. And the punching."

[sith_happened]

"I'd be a little pissed about the punching, too," Anakin admitted, "but I would've just punched back."

See? Very healthy.

[fates_jaye]

"I don't wanna hear that when you'd be punching me," Jaye pointed out.

[sith_happened]

"Well, just tell the panda you don't want to hit me," Anakin teased.

[fates_jaye]

"You'd be amazed how much that doesn't work," she said. "If the panda says hit you, I gotta hit you. Sorry,it's the rules."

[sith_happened]

"Can I hit the panda back then?" Anakin asked. "You know, in this hypothetical situation."

[fates_jaye]

"Well, the panda was on paper, so... sure? But I don't know what would happen if you did that. If karma would get me or something."

Jaye had yet to ever fry a lion.

[sith_happened]

"Hmmm," Anakin said. "But would it get me?"

Very ethical there, Anakin. Especially for someone who teaches the subject.

[fates_jaye]

"Don't be hypothetically mean to the birthday girl, Anakin," Jaye said, even if she was smiling.

[sith_happened]

"But it's how I show affection," he replied, laughing.
