Room 417, FRIDAY FINALLY, about when people are normalish.

There is a desk with several kinds of moddable booze on it. There are all the things that go with those seveal kinds of moddable booze, such as cups and shot glasses, because you'd better believe Jaye would have all of that. Also, a few more kinda of snacky things, because nothing goes with alcohol like snacky things.

Also, a fire extinguisher. Because Sam said she'd bring a blowtorch. And Jaye's not that stupid.

Also some more, glitter. It's the Seahorse way. Or, part of it.

Alec was glad he'd grabbed another handful from the bag - he offered a couple to Dawn, grinning. "Hey, Bagpipe Girl! And nice tattoo," he said, admiringly.

Dawn stuck her tongue out at Alec, then giggled, "Thanks. Jack painted it--he said I'd taste like fondue. Have a good time at the play?"

Alec blinked. "...Fondue? How does that work?" He tipped back a good bit of his drink and his grin widened. "Dean wore a dress. How could I not have had a good time?"

"I guess it's because it's part chocolate and part fruit, so if you get them together, you taste like chocolate-dipped..." Dawn eyed him, "Has Dean not told you about fondue? Sounds like he deserves another day in the dress."

Alec's eyes widened. "I agree," he said, agreeing just for the sake of potentially getting Dean in the dress again. "So what's fondue?"

"Well, chocolate fondue is heated chocolate and sometimes other flavors like raspberry or almond, and you dip bite-sized pieces of fruit and marshmallows and cake into it on these long forks. They do other kinds with cheese and apples and bread and veggies, but it's not as much fun," she explained, but didn't go into the blood fondue that Spike had made once, because ew.

"I'm good," and there might be a slight blush there, but it might also be chalked up to the vodka she had had earlier. "What about you?"

Alec cocked an eyebrow, sipping at his drink with a slight shrug. "Not bad. Been watching Dean a lot, lately."

"How's he doing?" Dawn figured if anyone would know the truth, it would be Alec.

Alec threw back the rest of his drink before he answered, shrugging slightly. "He's dealing. Not having nightmares as often, but he's hiding how much it bothers him," he said, ignoring the irony in him saying that about anyone.

"Yeah, actually," Alec said. "I think it helps to know it's not just him. It's not as hard to talk about it with someone who went through it already."

"As long as he's talking to someone," she said, nodding, "and I'm glad he's got you to help him through this. I mean, in addition to all the other reasons I'm glad you guys have each other. In a completely non-datey fashion."
