Room 417, Thursday evening

Jaye is actually looking forward to going home for once. Well, why shouldn't she? She'll be officially legal and can tell her family to shove it.

Of course then she wouldn't have money to do anything anymore, so she won't actually tell them that, but it's a great thought.

Any time she should be using to pack is instead lounging on her bed and spent flipping channels. She's passed up every possible show, she just likes clicking.

"Maybe?" he says, then holds up a bag of cookies to draw off her attention. "I brought cookies though! They're good. I only had one, to make sure."

Jaye grins broadly. "Totally forgiven! Have a seat! Share some cookies."

Grinning, he walks in and sits on the edge of the bed, handing her the bag first. "So, your voicemail was a greatly cheering thing and I appreciate it," he says, just so she knows. "Everyone and their brother - except Dean's - decided to let me know it was okay though. Kind of overwhelming support when I didn't expect it."

"Good," she says, totally not thinking of her flooded inbox last weekend. She takes a cookie before handing the bag back to him. "You rule, and also, this is Fandom."

"This is true," he says, agreeing with both and taking a cookie of his own. "I underestimated the casual disregard for past transgressions people seem to have here. 'You're a demon that skinned babies? Come on in!' 'Vampire? Just don't track any blood on the carpet'." He manages to sound only slightly sarcastic about this.

"Well, that kind of 'I love everything and thier past transgressions' is dumb," she says. "I mean, no vampires are coming over even if they wipe their feet first." She pauses. "Well, okay, unless you're Angel, but that's different."

"That Angel guy seems to have a pretty broad pass to Fandom," Alec notes. "Oh, and it's your birthday tomorrow, so what do you want for it?"

"A million dollars would rule," she says seriously, then shrugs. "I don't know, actually. I think I'm getting mature in my old age. Or less creative."

"I'll have to find you something completely random and immature then," he says with a nod.

"You know me so well," she smiles. "Bonus points if it makes obnoxious noises and/or hurts people unintentionally."
