First floor lobby, late Wednesday night

After the weird guy from next door came over, Jaye closed her door and got drunk. At one point she offered the Little Wooden Boy Dave a shot, but he seems to be clean.

At another point, Jaye started making phone calls.

And then she sets off to the lobby so she can go do her radio broadcast. Because sometimes Jaye's an idiot.

"I'm plenny steady," says Jaye, and stands on one foot.

And falls into the wall.

That's when Aeryn comes downstairs, deciding to go for a walk to work off some energy before going to bed. She looks at Jaye, then at Hermione, and asks, "Is she drunk again?"

"She does this often?" asks Hermione, trying to hold Jaye up, and getting slapped at in reply.

"It's not the first time," Aeryn sighs, though until now she's only heard it on the radio. "We should probably get her back upstairs before she accosts something."

[fates_jaye]

"No," says Jaye. She swats at Aeryn, too, because she's drunk enough to apparently be suicidal. "Radio."

"One of us can take care of it for you," Hermione offers. She ignores Aeryn's glare.

[fates_jaye]

"No. My schtick."

She and her liver should probably be worried that this is schtick.

As Jaye starts wandering to the door, Hermione turns to the other girl and says, "I'll go with her, make sure she doesn't hurt herself."

Aeryn looks her over, and she doesn't know the girl at all, but Hermione doesn't look like she can handle Jaye if she say, falls over somewhere. And Aeryn does have a conscience, so she sighs, and says, "I'll get you at least that far."

There's a thump as Jaye walks into the door.

"We should get going," Aeryn nods.
