She opens the door to her room after class and kicks her shoes off.

"Lalalala, I'm not liiiistening," she says, completely ignoring.

It would have been an option to stay in his room and hide out so no one would see the writing on his forehead that hadn't quite gone away with a shower. Instead, he's wearing Kawalsky's bandana of love and his nose still has a red dot on it. He sticks his head into Jaye's room as the door is open and knocks on the doorframe. "Yo!"

"Hi," she greets him, and then actually looks at him. "New look?"

"Im in disguise," he nods and enters the room, subtly closing the door behind him.

"Because it's kind of attention-drawing," she tells him.

"Nah huh, trust me. This is subtle," he argues and moves further into the room.

"Nuh uh," she argues back.

"Uh huh," he argues back and moves closer so he gets the height difference to back it up, except that he can't help but he smile.

Jaye smiles back. And because she is five, she says, "You liiiiiiike me."

He laughs and blushes before nodding slowly. "Kind of," he agrees and places a hand on her hip. "Maybe," he adds slowly as he leans his forehead against hers and this time he's not telling it to her feet. "Possibly."

"Just a smidge?" she says.

"A tiny bit," he nods, dislodging his bandana a bit.

"So..." she says, kinda wshing she didn't have to ask in case there's some weird rejection attached, "are we still flinging, really?"

He pulls back a little so he study her face fully. "I don't know," he says slowly. "Does it still count as flinging if there's a smidge of liking?"

"I don't know," she says back. "Do you want it to count as flinging?"

"Not in particular," he's just not sure what it should be called. "I think..." He looks confused, then seems to make a decision and kisses her.

She kisses him back, but hey, that's so not an answer. So when she finally pulls back, she says, "You think what?"

He smiles and touches his fingers to her lips. "I think that feels too good for just a fling."

Jaye's smiling at that. "Hm," she says.

"What do you want to call it?" Cameron asks.

"Um. I don't know. We're not exactly dating cuz... yeah. But." That's so not an answer.

"Do you want to?" He asks quickly before he loses his nerve.

She almost says "Buh?"

Instead, she says, "Date?"

He nods and shrugs one shoulders. "You don't have to. I like this as it is. It just... It could be fun."
