Jaye wants her damn ceiling power thing back, if only because Sharon's leaving her voicemail messages telling her she should see someone at the school about these delusions. And maybe she'll tell Logan this at the party.

Which she's going to as soon as she finishes packing for England. And having a staring contest with the lion on this subject.

"Bite me, you're not going with me," insists Jaye, unpacking for the fourth time to make things fit this time.

"It's a vacation," she says. "I'm sure you've heard of it. I know I never get them, but it's not for lack of trying. So you stay here."

"And that's final."

"Don't you start," she tells him.

So he's not entirely sure himself what he's going to say, but he knows that they should probably say something. Which completely makes sense in his head.

He takes a deep breath and knocks on the door.

"Yeah!" Jaye calls, and turns the lion around so he can't look at her.

Assuming that's a 'yeah, come in', Cameron does just that.

"Yo," he grins as he sees Jaye. "You look good in colour."

"Thanks," she smiles back. "I miss the ceiling." Which, granted, is a weird sentence.

He looks up at the ceiling for a moment. "I'm sure it misses you too," he says because he might possibly be stalling.

"It better. That poor things gets no play," she says. Oblivious to stalling.

He chuckles. "I'm sure it had lots of fun," he says and tilts his head as he adds probably not related to anything to do with ceilings. "I've had fun with you."

Jaye thinks there's something weird about that, and watches him. "We're having this talk, huh?"

"I think so," he says softly. "I don't know."

"Okay," she says. It sucks, but it also kinda relives some of the guilt about other stuff, and it was never supposed to be a big thing anyway. "Start treating this like a breakup and I'll throw something heavy at you."

She might look towards the monkey.

He laughs a bit at that and looks somewhat sheepish. "I don't think we can technically break up as we weren't together. I'll still kinda miss it, though."

"Well, you can see in color again. I've therefore outlived my usefulness," she says casually. Also, refusing to let this get weird. It's just not gonna happen.

"Nah, I refuse to believe that." He says as he casually moves closer.

"Thus making you the first person ever to actually believe that," she says. "You should be studied."

He frowns a bit. "I'm an optimist and an adventurer. Although, I'm not sure how many people are going to need you to cure their colourblindness. I'd like to think I was unique there."

She ponders this. "Would make an interesting ad on Craigslist." She's joking. Seriously. Kind of.

"Uh huh," he shakes his head. "I'm just grateful I'm not ending up there as monochrome hooker."

"You'd make good money," Jaye says honestly. "As long as you didn't end up letting yourself get suckered for seven fifty."

"Thanks. I think," he frowns. "So we're good?" Because he can't not ask.

"All good," she assures him with a nod.

He nods too and for the first time notices the packing going on. "Right, you're leaving me stuck with the bots while you have fun across the ocean." He might pout just a bit.

"Yep!" she grins. Really, there's no better answer than teasing.

"Thanks for being so sympathetic," he rolls his eyes, but smiles at her. "I should probably let you pack."

She shrugs. "See, the vacation's all fun, but if you pack like me, it means you have to go through hell for it first," she tells him.

"Oh? How come? Need a hand?"

She glances toward the silent lion. How dare he turn his back on her. "Nothing I can't handle without a fit or two, I think. Worse comes to worse I'll dump stuff in my suitcase and see what that does."

"I think you'll live," Cameron says, sounding amused. Without thinking, he leans in and kisses her cheek. "If you need rescuing, you know where I live."

"Yeah. Have fun on break," she tells him, smiling.

"Ow yeah, I'm sure jello dragons will invade while you're away." He pulls back and moves towards the door.

"If they do, I expect a phone call."

"I'll put you on speed dial instead of 911," Cameron promises and opens the door.

"Good boy."

Which for some reason makes him blow her a kiss before ducking out. "Bye, Jaye."

She shakes her head at that, but smiles anyway. "Later, Crunch."
