Jaye's not sure why she's having so much fun with the campaign, because she's not the get-involved type. And no one's forcing her to do it. Which is good, because the amount of animals in her room is more than scary at this point. But whatever, it's fun, and slandering Marty is always good.

She rubs her forehead. "Only wearing suits is kinda weird..." she ventures.

"Yeah..." Jaye says. "What's up with that?"

Angela shrugs. "I asked him once. He says he looks good in them. Which he does."

She thinks. "There's that thing with his egg white-omelet obsession..."

[fates_jaye]

Pause. "Egg white omelets?"

[chasingangela]

"You don't know this? It's all he eats, practically. And he doesn't put anything in them. I guess he likes the protien."

[fates_jaye]

Jaye really doesn't want to ask the next question, but she has to: "They aren't like... Muppet chicken eggs, are they?"

"That's sick! Camilla doesn't lay eggs," Angela sputters.

[fates_jaye]

"I just had to check!" Jaye says, immensely relieved.

[chasingangela]

"I know, but that's sick. Also? He is so, so, so not having sex with her. Or ferrets. Or anything else that isn't, um, me."

[fates_jaye]

"Well, I know, or at least I hoped really hard," she says. "I'm only doing this for Marty's own good."

Angela seems to relax a little as she replies.

"Good. Anything else I can tell you?"

[fates_jaye]

"Anything else embarrassing that doesn't deal with beastiality rumors?"

[chasingangela]

Angela appears to consider this for a moment. "I'm not sure it's possible to really embarass him, y'know? He just kind of shakes it off. Very cool."

[fates_jaye]

"Dammit."

[chasingangela]

"Sorry."

[fates_jaye]

"Thanks," Jaye says. "We will get Marty out of this, one way or another."

[chasingangela]

"And he won't suck at it, even if he does get elected. I mean, assuming he stays on council and doesn't get kicked off for more than a nanosecond."

"Thanks for trying to help, Jaye."

She shrugs. "I get bored easy."
