Outside the Hyperion, Sunday night

Jaye spent her weekend in the 49th century.

Jaye's weekend kicked ass.

So she was more than a little disappointed to have to go back to real life, with its work and- ugh- classes and general Jacklessness. "Sure you don't want to stay?" she asked on the way up to the front door of the hotel. "We could totally get a cool place nearby and be like a buddy comedy."

"Maybe they can be secret bank robbers," she suggested. "I've been here too long. I'm tempted to try selling this to FOX."

Jack glanced at her, looking as sheepish as he ever got, which, granted, wasn't very. "Tell her I got her email and tell her," he shrugged and grinned, surrendering himself to sounding like a total dork, "tell her I'm still hers. And ask her to tell Cedric the same thing. I'm still theirs."

Another thing that was just never going to happen was him being bad for her ego. "Awww," she said. "And I almost just said don't do anything I wouldn't do but that wouldn't be right at all, so forget that part."
