fates_jayeJaye's been a busy girl, what with the locking people in her room and the singing Jamie and the weirdest phone call ever and being wee and stuff. It might be a while before she has ice cream again, good lord.
However, being busy hasn't keep things quiet.
"Take the job."
Jaye turns around in her chair and glares at the lion. "Do you mind? I'm catching up on TV."
He stays quiet. Jaye turns back to her computer.
"Take the job."
"Bite my ass!"
Quiet. TV download yay.
"Take the job."
Jaye pauses the show and closes her laptop. "I'm going to Caritas," she decides.
And stupidly puts the lion in her purse out of habit. She'll kick herself for this later.
