Room 417, FRIDAY FINALLY, about when people are normalish.

There is a desk with several kinds of moddable booze on it. There are all the things that go with those seveal kinds of moddable booze, such as cups and shot glasses, because you'd better believe Jaye would have all of that. Also, a few more kinda of snacky things, because nothing goes with alcohol like snacky things.

Also, a fire extinguisher. Because Sam said she'd bring a blowtorch. And Jaye's not that stupid.

Also some more, glitter. It's the Seahorse way. Or, part of it.

"Is Brown close enough that they'll show up unexpectedly?"

"Oh, god, I didn't even think about that," Jaye groans. "East Coast, not too far. I was thinking more that they wouldn't expect me home that often if I needed a plane ticket."

"Is Brown a lot further away than Fandom? Because they'd probably only expect you as much as you come home from this school."

"Closer," she says, frowning. "It's in Rhode Island."

"Hmmmm." Sam thought about that, "Maybe you just shouldn't give them your academic schedule, and make up whatever holidays you want?"

"I could get a sugar daddy to pay for it," Jaye says. "Or not go, but say I'm going, and live in a van down by the river."

"Also a workable option," Sam agreed, "except for the lack of bathroom."

"An RV down by the river," Jaye amends.

"Sounds like you're all set." Sam nodded.

"Well, I don't have an RV," Jaye points out.

"Okay, so there's a slight hole in your plan, but it's not unworkable," Sam told her, and wow, maybe those tequilas hit faster than she meant them to.

"I could shoplift an RV," she decides.

"Wow, you'll need some pretty big pockets."

"No, I have a plan! I will be all 'Can I test drive this?' and then take it to Vegas." Because what's a little grand theft auto.

Sam didn't facepalm only because the plan probably took too much energy for Jaye to go through with it, "I thought Brown was in Rhode Island?"

"But it's Vegas," says Jaye. This all makes total sense to her.

Sam wondered if she needed to find Jaye the name of a good defense attorney, then realized she didn't have one. "So what's in Vegas?"

"Vegas," she says. "Trashiness. Awesomeness. And they give you drinks while you gamble."

"I think I need to get back there. I don't remember it being that much fun last time I went."

"Why not?" she asks, totally under the impression that Vegas probably isn't that much fun unless you can drink and/or gamble. Which is why her RV plans may have to wait.

And oops. Because Sam was last there before the most recent overhaul, not that she could say that in a crowded room. "I was too young to do anything fun."

"I knew it. Stupid laws."

"It's a conspiracy," Sam frowned, particularly when she realized that when she left Fandom, she'd be back to needing a fake ID.

"Seahorse town will not have any laws," Jaye decides.

"Seahorse town?" Sam asked, "And won't that just be anarchy?"
